The ski to the Round House. Leonardo and I were still on our way up. Hey! It's our first year!

No, we're not clumsy, just getting our snow legs!

OK, here we are! We did go all the way up and all the way back down! I have no idea what that is on my chin. Let's just forget we ever saw it, OK?

Sean and Julie. They have chickens. Sometimes we get eggs. They're such sweeties!

Our little, spent, pup, Willie, like 2 or 3 months ago, after a five-mile ski trip. Holing up in Ramon's old International Scout.

Our old yard. I love this tree and its shadow.

A typical Truchas fence on a typical winter day.

A station of the Cross in the wintertime. This WILL be a Trish Painting.

this is our "town dog," Elway, that we love so much. He is such a gentle soul. He has his own food bag, water dish, and dreadlock brush at our house. Yes, when it's cold he gets to sleep inside at night.

Wizzy, when he was helping me look for jobs. Now? Well, he's obviously helping me with the gallery business plan! See how studious he is? He's my right-hand cat.

The beginning stages of turning an ugly square hole into something beautiful.

Some progress on the archway.

What do you think?

Up to the first layer of paint in the bathroom. Of course it is a 3-layer paint job. What else did you expect? That's kind of my minimum.

From inside the gallery, this is the entry door.

Spending a couple, few bucks on the curtains and rods really changed the gallery from "almost there" to "stellar." Lesson learned? DO NOT SKIMP on the details. Esp. when you require Curb Appeal. (I knew that. Lesson for Husband, basically ;-)

Kitchen stove, gas.

Kitchen stove, wood.

My fabulous office desk, drapes, and ambience for library going in on the left of the window. Pass the brandy snifter, please.

My husband hard at work on what will be our sleeping quarters.

Last glimpse at the "Nightmare Devil Dog."

Cheers, then, until next time!
